Our Terms and Conditions

These terms govern all tours operated or sold by WildMiles Safaris Ltd

These terms govern all tours operated or sold by WildMiles Safaris Ltd (“WildMiles Safaris”). The term “Client,” “you,” or “your” refers to any person listed on the booking, including substitutions or additions made later.

Booking Confirmation & Payment

A contract is formed when a 30% deposit is received and a confirmation invoice is issued.

Final balance is due 60 days prior to departure. If unpaid, WildMiles Safaris reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment.

Bank charges are the client’s responsibility; invoices must be paid in full, free of deductions.

Prices exclude airfares, visas, airport taxes, extra accommodations, insurance, drinks, and personal expenses unless otherwise stated.

Accommodation per itinerary is subject to availability. Substitutions may be necessary during peak seasons or late bookings.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations incur a $150 per person administrative fee.

Hotels, airlines, or service providers may charge additional fees.

Refund Structure:

90+ days Full refund less $150 admin fee
60–89 days Loss of 30% deposit
31–59 days 50% of tour price non-refundable
30 days or fewer 100% of tour price forfeited

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Effective date is when received by WildMiles Safaris.

No refunds for unused services or if a client leaves a tour early.

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), rescheduling or credits may be considered.

Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover medical, cancellation, and evacuation costs.

Proof of insurance is required prior to departure.

Changes to Your Booking

Written notice required for any modifications.

Changes within 15 days of departure incur a $50 admin fee, plus any third-party costs.

Some bookings (e.g., with permits) are non-refundable regardless of timing.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for disruptions due to unforeseen events beyond our control (e.g., war, weather, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics, etc.).

Baggage & Personal Items

Baggage is carried at the client’s own risk. WildMiles is not liable for loss or damage.

Strict baggage limits may apply on trekking or bush flights.

Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility

You must disclose any medical conditions or disabilities at booking or as soon as known.

Our guides reserve the right to require medical clearance or ask you to leave the tour if health or behaviour puts others at risk.

Clients are expected to follow health guidelines, including hygiene and social distancing if applicable.

Travel Conduct & Local Laws

Clients must respect local customs, laws, and wildlife.

Responsible travel behaviour is expected (no littering, disturbing wildlife, etc.).

Cooperation with guides and tour leaders is required at all times.

Our Commitment to You

We will deliver agreed services with reasonable care and skill.

If issues arise, report them immediately to your group leader or our local representative.

Any unresolved issues will be subject to binding arbitration in Tanzania.

Risk Acknowledgement

Our tours involve adventure and inherent risks. WildMiles Safaris accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage.

By booking, you accept full responsibility and agree to indemnify WildMiles Safaris against related claims.

Authority During the Tour

The guide/driver’s decisions are final regarding safety, logistics, and group conduct.

You must comply with all Tanzanian regulations, including foreign exchange and customs laws.

Use of Images

We may use tour photos/videos for marketing. If you prefer not to be included, please inform your tour leader at the start of your trip.

Pricing & Changes

Prices are based on current exchange rates and taxes. We reserve the right to adjust pricing due to tax hikes or government-imposed fees.

Privacy Policy

We collect only necessary personal information with your consent.

Data is used solely for the purposes communicated and is securely stored.

Important Notice

By booking a tour with WildMiles Safaris, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WildMiles Safaris Ltd.
